3 Tips For Making Your Equipment Donations Easier and Less Risky - Free Webinar!

With the Holiday Season upon us, here are 3 great tips to help make your equipment donation strategy even more productive. All hospitals donate equipment, but doing it is a little more complicated than calling a guy with a truck.

In just 30 minutes, Miga's CEO Peter Robson will share the 3 things all hospitals need to consider before donating:

Know what the equipment is really worth: For a host of reasons, you must know the market value of that which you donate. Just because accounting carries it a zero book value doesn't mean that it's true market value.

Know and vet your donation recipients: Not everyone soliciting donations is accredited, or competent to handle the critical logistics; this impacts your ability to take credit for the donation while not gumming up your loading dock or warehouse.

Know your equipment is clean of PHI: Donate equipment that has been thoroughly scrubbed of PHI. The last thing you'd want is a HIPAA violation and $1 million fine while trying to do right for the world.

Miga has over 10 years of donating usable medical equipment to charitable organizations supporting medical missions in more than 40 countries around the world. We look forward to sharing our knowledge with you.
